Richmond Castle
We went to another English Heritage site today, Richmond Castle. We arrived around 12.30 and got something to eat before going into the castle. It was a fabulous day glorious weather too. We left the castle and had short walk around the town before going to get chips for tea in Ripon.
The castle was used during the first world war as a prison for men who refused to sign up to fight.
