Having another cuddle
We dropped the Christmas Presents off on Friday at Leanne and Steve's and I managed to get a cuddle with my Grand Daughter. I asked her brother Jensen if I could take her home but he was having non of it.

New Addition to the Family
In the early hours of Monday 1 December our new Grandaughter - Laney Faith was born weighing 7lb 5oz. As you can see from the photographs she is beautiful - well I am biased. There is a little sadness to her arrival as her other Grandad passed away a week later, I like to think he waited until Laney arrived and I am sure he will watch her grow up just as we will. Welcome to the World Laney!

Family Day in Hunstanton
On Wednesday Richard and I drove down to Hunstanton as Andrew, Gemma and Jaden were having a bit of a holiday. The car journey should have taken 3 hours but it was nearer 5 what with road works - yes just for a change - and a burnt out lorry.
But we had a fantastic day, the weather was great and it was lovely being together as a family. Jaden is a right little tear away and funny. He went on a few rides and he was fearless!!
I really like Hunstanton, the beach isn't up to much as it is rocky but who cares when you are on holiday.

Hanna's Prom
It was Hanna's prom last night, so we went to see her off. She looked beautiful so it was well worth the hours we spent in the shop trying all the dresses on and I mean ALL - she tried every one of them on and some more than once.

Baby Sitting Duties
Richard and I looked after Jensen again on 7th June, he stayed with us overnight and luckily Steven was with us to lend a hand - he did a great job.
I made a curry for Saturday night's tea, Jensen and Steven loved it!!

Jaden is one today
I cannot believe Jaden is one today!! Last Thursday Richard and I took his birthday present as we couldn't make his birthday party yesterday. It was really nice seeing them all the family again.
He is a gorgeous little boy who is into everything.

Jensen and Sully
When we had Jensen for the night we took him to the Disney shop as we had seen a Sully that we thought he might like. As soon as we walked into the shop he saw Sully and said "I want monster" so monster he got. He wasn't too keen on it at first because of the noises it made, but now he loves it so much so that his Mum says he won't go to nursery without it. He tells everyone that his Nana and Grandad bought it for him, and someone very kindly bought him his own Sully dressing gown.

Feeling Sorry
We had Jensen again on Tuesday for the day and I was feeling pretty miserable due to the pot on my foot.

My Family
This photo was taken at Edinburgh Castle and it was our first family holiday and my first time in Scotland. What a fantastic place, I fell in love with Scotland and in particular Eyemouth where we stayed in a caravan on the cliff tops.
Day out with Jensen
This is Jensen, my grandson, it was taken in Bakewell. My partner (Richard) and I were looking after him overnight whilst his Mum and Dad went to a wedding. It was our first time of looking after him.
This is him feeding the ducks and he ran rings around me, he would grab some seed out of the bag and then go charging up to the waters edge to drop it.
